About the Press

Crownwell Press exists to preserve and transmit the written works that have shaped the Christian intellectual tradition. We publish theology, church history, commentaries, biographies, reference works, and classic literature in editions designed to endure: Smyth-sewn hardcovers, carefully typeset interiors, validated EPUB3 ebooks, and professionally mastered audiobooks. Every title in our catalog receives the same editorial care and production quality, whether it is a new critical edition of Spurgeon's sermons or a fresh setting of a nineteenth-century novel. We believe that good books deserve good making, and that the works of the past deserve to remain in print for the readers of the future.
